We provide competitive alternatives to high volume petrochemicals to help decrease the world's CO2 intensity.  Our revolutionary catalyst technology for catalytic dehydration of α-hydroxy acids allows the supply of sustainable, bio-based acrylic acid and acrylate derivatives as drop-in replacements to the paints, coatings, adhesives, and superabsorbents industries at cost parity. 

Sironix Renewables (Link) is a seed-stage startup company located in Seattle, WA.  We are a team of scientists and business experts with backgrounds from academia and industry, and we are working hard to change the way the world cleans. Here at Sironix, we transform plants into high-performing chemicals, so your cleaning products perform better and do no harm to the environment. Paul Dauenhauer's research laboratory at the University of Minnesota started researching functional properties of oleo-furans (OF) in 2014.  In 2015, Sironix developed and tested the first technology concepts and OF surfactant prototypes.

Carba (carba.eco) captures carbon dioxide from the atmosphere using plants and pioneering reactors that convert the carbon molecules in organic waste to graphitic carbon. Our innovative low temperature pyrolysis reactors are highly efficient, modular and scalable to meet the IPCC goals of 1 Gt/yr of carbon removal by 2030. Carba is the brainchild of Dr. Andrew Jones and Prof. Paul Dauenhauer, and the result of their combined 40+ years of experience with alternative energy, biomass, and catalysis.

Activated Research Company (ARC) is an innovative product development company based in Eden Prairie, MN that specializes in chemical analysis and catalytic reactors.
